Finance Manager

SFE Partners is seeking a skilled, experienced finance manager to join our growing organization. In this newly created position, you will play a key role in the strategy and the long-term financial security of our organization. You will investigate new ways to improve our profitability and analyze markets and market trends for opportunities that the firm can capitalize on. Strong communication skills, leadership, business acumen, and experience are required to aid in the long-term growth and success of our company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensures business processes, administration, and financial management.
  • Maintains accounting system.
  • Leads planning and forecasting activities to achieve business and company goals.
  • Prepares and reviews financial reports and forecasts
  • Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
  • Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.
  • Assists management to make financial decisions.
  • Investigates means to improve profitability.
  • Reviews and processes payments.
  • Maintains an accurate filing and record keeping (electronic) system for all financial statements and company documents.
  • Participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate expansion, compliance, and scaling of the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a financial management position
  • Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and financial management software
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • This position offers a balance of a remote and in-office schedule.
